Maggie Holmes lost her beautiful young son, Ryan, to suicide on February 23rd, 2006.

In April 2011, Maggie climbed to the Base Camp of Mount Everest (17,590 ft.) to raise money for the Canadian Mental Health Association (Youth programs), and awareness of youth and emerging adult mental health issues in our area.  She has surpassed her initial goal of raising $29,035 (the height of the summit itself), but is now raising even more money for her cause.  Every penny counts for this important cause, so please go to her website today and donate what you can.  While you are there you will see some fabulous photos of her climb!  Well done Maggie, you are a hero to many!
